UrbanIxD Summer School Showreel
The UrbanIxD Summer School took place in the beautiful and historic town of Split in Croatia. This was an interdisciplinary, workshop style, event hosted by the Department of Visual Communications Design, Arts Academy, University of Split. There was a line up of inspirational speakers, and participants worked in groups lead by experienced atelier leaders. At the end of the week, the work created by the participants was presented to the people of Split as an open exhibition.

UrbanIxD Special Interest Group session at CHI 2013
The ACM SIGCHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems is the premier international conference on human-computer interaction. Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide an opportunity to attract a group of conference attendees who share a common interest and engage them in face-to-face discussions. The UrbanIxD project's SIG proposal titled UrbanIXD :: Designing Human Interactions In The Networked City has been accepted for the conference which takes place in April in Paris. A worst case scenario: the city of Split, facing economic meltdown, receives an offer from a television network ‘Good Life Entertainment’, to transform itself into a giant interactive TV and on-line programme as a means of saving the inhabitants from poverty and unemployment. The city and its citizens are recorded via thousands of cctv cameras, drones and mobile camera crews. They have to dramatize their lives in order to engage viewers, encouraged by the fact that the more followers they have the more money they can earn and the more time, money and sophisticated filming techniques will be used to document their lives.Project from Interaction Design Workshop 2012, Arts Academy, Split dvk.com.hr/interactions/workshop2012/
